Galliford Try Partnerships has formed a joint venture with leading affordable housing provider Metropolitan Thames Valley as part of a major regeneration opportunity that will deliver 171 new homes at Wilford Lane in Nottingham.
Built on a former playing field owned by Nottinghamshire County Council, the joint venture partners will work alongside Rushcliffe Borough Council to deliver 51 affordable homes, available for affordable rent and shared ownership, as well as 120 open-market sale homes.
The project brings together two well-established and highly regarded organisations to focus on delivering high-quality new homes and provide a sustainable new community.
Construction work commenced in February 2018 and is due to complete by December 2020. The first homes are expected to be available for sale from autumn 2018.
As part of the project, Galliford Try Partnerships will also provide access to the land adjacent to the site that is owned by Nottinghamshire County Council, which is planned to be used for a new school.
